The owl arrived promptly around 12:01AM on Valentine's Day, with a card and a parcel of licorice wands.

Around mid-morning, a repetitive and irritating knock was made at the front door. It did not cease until answered to reveal a disgruntled middle aged cupid in a cloth diaper, who proceeded to give a surprisingly good rendition of Bon Jovi's Shot Through the Heart before firing a harmless plastic arrow at the redhead's heart.
After an awkward pause, the bow and arrow were put away in a quiver. Bending down a large gift basket was plucked from the ground and pushed into her arms before cupid wandered off to bring more love to the world.
The card bore her name in chicken scratch, thrice taped to the bubble wrap that encircled the brown tub that contained various items. Within was a bottle of Fireball Whiskey, a block of aged cheddar and a block of swiss, a tube of spicy sausage that was only marginally suggestive, buttered crackers, and a box of rum chocolates.

An owl delivered the usual post of the morning, with a banana yellow envelope taped to a large box of Valentine's Day themed jelly slugs (supposedly they were kissing).
Around noon, a second owl made an appearance with a second cotton candy pink envelope, with a familiar sprawl of script. This one was taped to an additional box of jelly slugs, equal in size to the other one.
There could be a hundred explanations for double Valentine's for Seth. But the most logical answer would be she had bought two cards in the moment of indecision, and sent the wrong card by mistake. It was Seth though, so would he really complain about double candy?
